| Bio: | Much to my joy, I have discovered a way to get paid to read: go to graduate school. I'm in the early stages of a PhD program in history of science. What is "history of science"? Don't ask. Seriously, don't. I'll just confuse everyone with a bunch of muddled stuff about how we don't use the word "progress" anymore and why the history of alchemy is a legitimate academic subject. I quote the Simpsons far too often, spend way too much time online, and am horribly addicted to books of all varieties. (The public library is the only thing standing between me and bankruptcy.) In most movies, I can predict which characters will die within ten minutes of the opening credits. I also play classical piano and occasionally try to write. | |
